Match Objects That Fit Together

Teaching logic and reasoning skills begins at an early age. Help your young students begin to build critical thinking skills with this video about how objects fit or go together.

In the video lesson, the students see many examples of how things go together. Examples are given that show an outline of an object and then three objects. Students are told they use their eyes to see which object matches the outline. But the students learn that sometimes you have to use your mind to figure out what objects go together. Think of cookies and milk. Why do these two things go together? What about fish and water? The video gives several examples of things that fit or go together.

Encourage critical thinking by asking open-ended questions and providing a variety of play experiences. Expand on the teaching in this video and ask your students to think of other things that fit together! This video is a great tool to use to build logical and critical thinking skills.
