Fur or Feathers? Worksheet
Look at the animals you see every day. Can we notice something that is different between them and human beings? If you have a pet in your home, ask your child to touch it and tell you what covers the animal’s body. Some animals are covered in one of two things; fur or feathers. Feathers are mostly found on birds, while fur is on mammals. Identify the animals in this worksheet with your kids, and then help them decide if each animal uses fur or feathers to survive.
