Punctuation marks are important in any sentence. Before beginning this worksheet, ask your students if they can tell you some of the punctuation marks which they are familiar with and what these punctuation marks signify. Some of the most common punctuation marks are the full stop, the question mark, and the exclamation mark. Point at each of the punctuation marks in the picture. Then, read the sentences to your students and help them circle the punctuation that fits each, from the picture on the left.
