However, it is undeniable that the constant consumption of news and media, specifically that which displays violence, war, dysfunction and general harm, are not beneficial for children and young adults (and let’s be honest - adults) to consume. This is particularly relevant now, in times of conflict.

In the first few years of school, kids focus on math and ELA because they form the bedrock of all the learning that is to come! 1st grade is especially critical for kids as they make the biggest leaps in literacy and numeracy that are necessary to learn other academic subjects, such as science and social studies.
