Introducing Kids Academy Summer Camp for Grade 3

If you are a parent of an older child who is a recent or rising 3rd grader, we have a course specifically tailored just for them! Older kids are typically more fluent when it comes to reading and writing, and they tackle increasingly tough concepts across the curriculum.
But due to the recent school closures, chances are, your little learner also missed valuable learning this spring. To avoid any potential learning loss or slide, Kids Academy has you covered with summer camp for 3rd grade!
Subjects and Skills Covered
Our special summer camp course covers all the expected curricular areas, including ELA, math, social studies, and science. What makes it different is the level of complexity; 3rd graders are busy building upon the skills they already learned in school, becoming more fluent, aware, and knowledgeable about the world around them. Specifically, our course covers:
- Word parts such as prefixes and suffixes
- Grade-level sight words and spelling
- Sentence structure, grammar, and parts of speech
- Reading comprehension and informational texts
- Multiplication, division, and rounding
- Area, perimeter, fractions and data
- US and world history, geography, and government
- Advanced science topics such as Earth science, forces and more!
