Learning the sound of the alphabet is very important to understand it completely. Now, ‘I’ has two sounds: • ‘I’ sounds as ‘aeh’, as in ‘igloo’. • ‘I’ sounds as ‘aai’, as in ‘ivy’ So what examples can you give? Let me help you out. For the sound ‘aeh’, as in igloo. The letter P has only one sound that is ‘peh’ as in ‘pip’ and ‘pin’. P makes up a lot of words. Let’s start with some easy words for kids. Words beginning with P You can use these words to teach your kid the sound of P.
