    Counting numbers is one of the very first things your kids will be introduced to as soon as they start learning. Of course, you already have some educational DVDs and maybe even video games which help teach your kids to count, but you still need this worksheet to  help them practice some more. Look at the picture with your kids, and help them count the instruments. Then, help them circle the groups that have 10 instruments.

    Lady bugs are pretty little insects. If your kids have ever seen a lady bug, ask them to tell you what feature about the insect really stood out the most. They will probably tell you immediately that it was the spots on the insect’s back. If they haven’t seen the insect before, show them the picture in this printout. Now, help them count the spots on each group of ladybugs. Make sure you count carefully. Then, trace a line to the group that has 10 spots.
