As your young one progresses in age and math skills, you must assist them in gradually counting higher than they previously could. The worksheet in this exercise is designed to enhance your youngster’s counting and matching skills. Forget addition and subtraction and work together on this fun exercise. Counting the points within each box, carefully circle the boxes that contain up to 10 points.
Counting numbers is one of the very first things your kids will be introduced to as soon as they start learning. No doubt you already have some educational DVDs and maybe even video games which help teach your kids to count, but you still need this worksheet to help them practice some more. Look at the picture with your kids, and help them find the groups of ten. Then, trace a line from the groups with 10 blocks to the number 10.
Before going further into doing anything else involving numbers, your kids must first learn to count. Guide them through their 1, 2, and 3s and then take it a bit further into the tens, and then the 100s. With the right equipment and learning materials such as this colorful worksheet, your kids will be counting as high as possible. Look at the trucks in the printout and count the barrels on them together with your kids. Now, help them circle the trucks that have 10 barrels.
