Compare 2-Digit Numbers

The Kids Academy comparing numbers video is a great visual for instruction or reinforcement of this math concept. In the video, the student sees fun race cars zooming down a track. Each of the cars has 2 digit numbers on the side. The speaker in the video then compares the different numbers on the cars.

Students are also shown how to assign the “greater than” and “less than” math symbols correctly as well as reminded to look at the number in the tens place when first making the comparison. Furthermore, students are shown several racing cars and have ample opportunity to practice comparing 2-digit numbers.
