What Is a Line Plot?

A line plot is basically a graph that displays data along a number line. There’s a line of X’s or dots that are recorded above the responses just to indicate the number of times a response comes in the data set.”

A line plot is an absolutely amazing way to arrange and organize data especially when you have to do a comparison of numbers that are less than 25.

All you have to do is to create a table of the data and then draw a horizontal line. Then you need to write down the numbers along the horizontal line and then interpret your data. You will probably read and incorporate the use of line plot in math for grade 2.
