Together with your little ones, look at the picture of the chessboard carefully to figure out what has happened on the board. There are two chess boards. On the first one, the chess pieces have not made their moves. On the second chess board, some moves have been made, and some chess pieces have captured the others. Ask your child to check the correct notation of the moves or capture for each piece in this simple worksheet.

Required skills:
To resolve this worksheet, students should be able to read chess notation and apply it to the chessboard in order to figure out what moves were made and which pieces were captured.
