Sort the Same Group 2 Different Ways: Animals Worksheet
Together with your child, look at the animals pictured in this worksheet. Ask your kids if they can name the animals that they see. Then, tell them to sort the animals according to their type. That is, the lions in one side, and the bears in another. Then, instruct your kids that they must sort the animals by size. Help your little ones trace on the dotted lines to properly sort the animals according to size.
Required skills:
Students should know how to recognize the animals (lions, bears, elephants, etc.) shown in the worksheet. They should also have an understanding of how to categorize and sort them based on their type (e.g. grouping all lions together), as well as based on their size (e.g. grouping all large animals together). Additionally, students should be able to follow instructions to properly trace along the dotted lines to sort the animals.
