Its time for some more suffixes for kids. In this video, we talk about the suffixes -er and -ness. We know that suffixes are added to the end of words to change their meaning and to form new words. So, let's see what these suffixes can do.

When we add -er to a word it makes a word that means a person who does something. For example:

• Painter

• Singer

• Player

- ness

When we add -ness to a word it means ‘the act of’. Which means that something is being done with some kind of quality. For example:

• Greatness

• Kindness

• Happiness
