Across Genres: Character Check Worksheet
Read the sentences in this worksheet to your kids and make sure they are paying good attention to what you are saying. You can ask your kids to read along with you so that they understand the sentences better. The aim of the pdf exercise is to see how well your kids can match pictures to sentences. For each sentence, there are two pictures. Read the sentences to your kids, and then ask them to look at the pictures beneath the sentence. Help them check the picture that matches the sentence.

To successfully complete this worksheet, students should have a good understanding of the sentences read to them, as well as the vocabulary used in those sentences. They should also be able to critically think about the meaning of each sentence in order to match it correctly to the corresponding picture. Students should have a keen sense of visual perception to differentiate between the two pictures provided and select the one that matches the sentence best.
