Capitalization is important in writing. Capitalization signifies a lot of things, and you can warm up your child’s thinking by asking them some of the ways capitalization is important. Punctuations are equally just as important in writing. The full stop, comma, question mark, and exclamation mark are just some of the most common ones we have. Read each sentence in this worksheet to your child. Ask them if each of the sentences have proper capitalization, and then help them check the correct sentences.
