Haystack Steps Worksheet
In a farm, lots of things go on. Have your kids ever been to a farm, what were some of their favorite activities and things to see? Farmers are very important to the community, because they grow a lot of the foods that we eat, and they give us products like milk and eggs. The farmer in this worksheet has stacked some hay. His animals need to climb these haystacks to get into the barn. Ask your kids to check the stack of hay that will make the step get higher by 1.

To resolve this worksheet, students should be able to count and add numbers up to at least 10. They should also have a basic understanding of the needs of different farm animals, and how farmers grow and harvest crops like hay.
