Making Shapes with Shapes Worksheet
Shapes are tricky little things. Sometimes, they can be turned around and form an entirely different shape, and other times some shapes look too similar to another one. No doubt that your students might be a bit confused, but you can help clear their confusion with this simple worksheet. Examine the shapes you see on the left side, and then help your kindergartners circle the shape that can be made from the parts in the picture.
Required skills:
To resolve this worksheet, students should have a basic understanding of different shapes such as squares, circles, triangles, rectangles etc. They should also be able to notice the different parts of a given shape and identify which other shape it can be made from. This activity requires them to have good visual discrimination skills and spatial awareness.
