Your kids need to learn to be fluent speakers, and articulate their words perfectly. To do that, they must learn about syllables. A word could have any number of syllables; from 1 to 5 or even 7. The longer a word is, the more number of syllables it would have. For your kids level; however, they would probably be dealing with one or two syllable words. Your kids will help the kids in this worksheet collect the tennis balls. Help them circle the words with closed syllables.

Required skills:
Students should know how to identify and differentiate between closed syllables in words. They should also have a basic understanding of different types of syllables and their importance in pronunciation. Additionally, they need to recognize the number of syllables in a word and understand how it affects the pronunciation.

Daughter's favorite
Still a top favorite for our 7 year old. She loves earning her stars as she learns to trace letters and numbers. Coloring and the sounds are engaging and are on target for her age group and being Pre K.
