Complete in App

Learning phonics goes hand in hand with learning how to read. For your child to be able to understand how to pronounce words, you must assist them in learning the different phonetic sounds. The long «i:» and the short «i» are some of the phonics sounds your child will learn. Help the boy in the picture worksheet find his kite by tracing through the words with the long «i:» sound. Using a pencil, assist your child to trace through the words to complete the worksheet exercise.

Required skills:
Students should know how to recognize and distinguish between the long "i" and short "i" sounds in words. They should also understand how to read and write words containing the long "i" sound. Finally, they should be able to follow written directions to complete a task.

Momma Anna
Daughter's favorite
Still a top favorite for our 7 year old. She loves earning her stars as she learns to trace letters and numbers. Coloring and the sounds are engaging and are on target for her age group and being Pre K.
