Producer or Consumer? Worksheet
Before beginning this simple worksheet, you can test your child’s knowledge by asking them if they know who a producer is, and who a consumer is. Not worries if your child comes up empty here. You can still give them a good definition. A producer is someone who makes something, and a consumer is a person who buys something. For example, your child’s favourite snacks are made by the producers, and you act as the consumers by buying and eating it. Now, look at the picture in the free pdf with your kids. Students should know the definitions of producers and consumers before starting the worksheet. They should also be able to recognize examples of each and have basic classification skills to choose whether an object in the picture is a producer or consumer.
